CCTF, Hengyuanxiang Launch 2023 Heng’ai Action
January 15, 2024
The China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) and Hengyuanxiang Group, a Shanghai-based wool manufacturer, announced the 2023 Heng'ai Action, in Lianyungang, a city in East China's Jiangsu Province, on December 14, 2023. Hengyuanxiang Group donated funds and materials, worth more than 10.85 million yuan (US $1.53 million), to CCTF during the ceremony.
Heng'ai Action, launched by CCTF and Hengyuanxiang in 2005, encourages families to care for disadvantaged children, by knitting and presenting sweaters to them. Heng'ai Action has become a bridge of friendly exchanges between families, of all ethnic groups, in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and families from other regions of China.
The activity has helped children from Xinjiang and other areas of China feel the care of the Communist Party of China, and the warmth of the big socialist family.
